Congratulations, Matthew Nace, on Being Named to the 2019 Best Lawyers in America List!
Paulson & Nace, PLLC, is thrilled to announce that attorney Matthew A. Nace has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America® for the first time for his work in Medical Malpractice Law – Plaintiffs, in Washington, D.C.
The Best Lawyers recognition is a peer review process “of outstanding attorneys are compiled by conducting exhaustive peer review surveys in which tens of thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers.” Attorneys nominate their colleagues, and the reviews are analyzed and vetted with the local bar association before determining the finalists. The firms of the attorneys who will be recognized each year are notified, and then the list of awardees is published in print and online. Lawyers cannot pay a fee and make the list; it is entirely based on their peers’ assessments.
A growing force in the legal community
Paulson & Nace is a family owned firm, and Matthew has followed in the footsteps of his father, Barry Nace, in the practice of law.
Matthew primarily focuses his practice on medical malpractice, personal injury, trucking litigation, wrongful death and other negligence cases. Mr. Nace has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers each year since 2014; he is a board member of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. (TLA-DC) as well as the Bar Association of the District of Columbia; Matthew also serves as the Vice Chair of the Counsellors of Washington, D.C. and is a member of the Maryland Association for Justice. As a member of the American Association for Justice, Matthew was recently elected, through the Section Leaders Council, to serve on the Board of Governors. He is the current Chair of AAJ’s Motor Vehicle Collision Highway and Premises Liability Section.
