Chris represents the next generation of lawyers in our multi-generational firm. We are proud not only of his accomplishments, but of his dedication to social justice that he has demonstrated by devoting his time, energy and resources to an organization which is dedicated to public interest law.
What is the Public Justice Foundation?
The Public Justice Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable, educational and membership organization whose mission is to advance the public good in the area of social justice. It serves to support the work of Public Justice, a national public interest law firm, whose mission is to “pursue high impact lawsuits to combat social and economic injustice, protect the Earth’s sustainability, and challenge predatory corporate conduct and government abuses.”
Fighting to protect clients and the civil justice system
While he may be following in his father, Barry Nace’s, footsteps, Christopher Nace is forging his own path into the arena of social justice. He is a past president of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. (TLA-DC), and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the American Association for Justice; he is the only lawyer in the country currently serving on both the Public Justice Foundation and AAJ Executive Committees. Chris is a past chair of AAJ’s New Lawyers Division and its Membership Oversight Committee.
Chris has also been recognized by the legal community and independent rating services for the work he has done on behalf of his clients and the civil justice system. He has been awarded AAJ’s Distinguished Service Award three times, and has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America®, The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 and Super Lawyers. He also maintains a perfect 10/10 score on Avvo.
