Verdicts and Settlements

The caption of this case was originally Ferguson v. United States Government, Anonymous Hospital and Anonymous Physician.  The Hospital and Physician both settled. The Government, however, who was effectively representing the pediatrician, would not engage in meaningful negotiations.
