Christopher T. Nace and Matthew A. Nace Selected as 2017 Washington, DC Super Lawyers
Super Lawyers is a nationally-recognized rating service which recognizes “outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement.” Only 5% of attorneys in each state and Washington, DC, will be selected for inclusion. Rising Stars selects only 2.5% of attorneys who are either 40 years old or younger, or who have been in practice for no more than 10 years, for its annual list.
Chris Nace was named a Rising Star in 2013, and has been selected for inclusion every year since 2014. Matt Nace has been named a Rising Star every year since 2014. We want to congratulate them both for being recognized once again for their hard work, their dedication to their clients, and for their achievements.
How Super Lawyers selects attorneys for inclusion
Because attorneys cannot nominate themselves, Super Lawyers relies on other attorneys, feedback from third parties and their own independent research to develop a qualified pool of applicants. Once attorneys have been nominated, and independent review panel assigns points to each nominee by evaluating 12 different performance areas. The points are weighted, and the evaluation process is proprietary. Attorneys with the highest point totals are then passed along to a final evaluation by the Blue Ribbon panel – a panel made up by other nominated attorneys. From this list, final selections are made.
Selection in one year does not guarantee selection in the following year. This is one of the many reasons why all of us at Paulson & Nace, PLLC, are so proud of Chris and Matt. Their recognition is well-deserved.
