Great Leaders Like Matthew A. Nace Are Made at Paulson & Nace, PLLC

Great Leaders Like Matthew A. Nace Are Made at Paulson & Nace, PLLCAt Paulson & Nace, PLLC, we value education. It is what has allowed our attorneys to rise to leadership positions in both local community organizations and within the legal community as well. That is why we are proud to announce that attorney Matthew A. Nace has been accepted into the American Association for Justice’s Leadership Academy, an AAJ initiative designed to “give AAJ members the skills and techniques needed to make them effective leaders in professional settings, in AAJ, and in their communities.”

Acceptance into the Leadership Academy is limited to small groups of attorneys – between 14 and 16 – who are AAJ members in good standing, and who belong to an underrepresented group within the Association. Over the course of two days, participants will attend six sessions (in total) which not only focus on how to be a leader, but also on “developing emotional intelligence, increasing self-awareness, and the changing nature of leadership for lawyers.”

Dedicated to leading the charge for justice

Acceptance into the Leadership Academy is just the latest of Matthew’s impressive accomplishments. He has joined some of the country’s most prestigious organizations, including the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C. and the Maryland Association for Justice. Matthew was named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2014, and serves as the Secretary of AAJ’s Motor Vehicle Collisions, Highway and Premises Liability Section. Matthew was also recently elected Treasurer of The Counselors, a Washington, D.C. organization of attorneys across various practice areas.

But leadership is a family affair here at Paulson & Nace. Attorney Christopher Nace was recently elected to the position of President Elect of the Trial Lawyers Association of Metropolitan Washington, D.C., a position Barry J. Nace held twice – the only attorney to ever have done so.

We are excited for and proud of Matthew as he embarks on this next step on the path to leadership. We expect big things from him, now and in the future.

Congratulations, Matthew. You deserve it!
